Thruxton 10k Run
Our Thruxton Run ceased to be a 'Community Service' project a couple of years ago when we canceled the 'Fun Run' element of the event because of the lack of support from the public.
Now we are in the position that it is not a very successful fund raiser either. The 2006 Thruxton 10km race proved to be a great deal of work for little return.
As we are not an Athletics body, it had been decided to delete this Service Project from our Club calendar.
We know that both Andover AC and Mencap have expressed interest in organising a 10km Road Race, but neither are interested in putting it on at Thruxton.
