Andover Fireworks at Thruxton- Cancelled

Many people will have heard that a couple of months ago the Rotary Club of Andover reluctantly took the decision that it would not be able to help run the popular Fireworks Display at Thruxton this November.
As reported in the Andover Advertiser, Club President David Moulton said that the decision was taken with extreme reluctance, but a number of factors had culminated in the decision. These included concerns about the manpower and financial commitments that have been involved in running the event at Thruxton.
Andover Round Table, Rotary's long term partners in the organisation of the event, have now confirmed that they will not be able to run an event this year.
