Childrens Aid Club
For several years the Rotary Club of Andover has raised monies for local charities through its 200 Club, its 100 Club and latterly by its Childrens Aid Club (Registered Charity No. 253063).
The Childrens Aid Club 2009-10 raised funds for Icknield School and Andover Young Carers. Each member made a £10 donation and over 70% of donations received went to the charities with the balance going into a prize pool. There were two prizes in each monthly draw starting in September. In December and June the prizes were substantially enhanced to distribute the balance of the prize fund.
The final draw for this Rotary year has now taken place.
We would like to thank all those who contributed. If you didn't win there is the reward of knowing that this year, out of your subscriptions, some £1300 went to two very good local causes. We take no expenses in the running of the draw - it is quite simple: Every penny of your subscriptions goes one of two ways - either into the prize fund or to one of the nominated charities.
