Childrens Aid Club
For several years the Rotary Club of Andover through its Benevolent Fund (Registered Charity No. 253063) has raised monies for local charities through its Childrens Aid Club.
The Childrens Aid Club 2011-12 is raising funds for the Acorns Early Learning Centre and Icknield School which both support children with special needs. Each member made a £10 donation and over £1,250 representing 70% of the donations will be distributed between the beneficiaries with the balance to the prize fund. There are two prizes in each quarterly draw with a first prize of £100. All monies are distributed with no expenses deducted. The last of the draws, in June 2012, will clear the balance of the prize fund.
The first of the four quarterly draws of the Children’s Aid Club 2011 / 2012 was held at our Rotary meeting on 27th September 2011. The lucky winners are shown below.

The second of the four quarterly draws of the Children’s Aid Club 2011 / 2012 was held at our Rotary meeting on 13th December 2011. The lucky winners are shown below.

As a Club our thanks to all those who joined the Aid Club last year. You raised nearly £1,100 to help local children with special needs who attend the Acorn Early Learning Centre or Icknield School.
