Rotarian John Ray
1942 – 2011

We very much regret to announce that Rotarian John Bruce Ray died on the 6th November 2011 after a short battle with cancer. John was President of Andover Rotary Club twice (2004-2005 and 2007-2008), a Paul Harris Fellow and ran the Rotary District 1110 Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) scheme for many years. His contribution to our Club and to the community as a whole was immense and he will be greatly missed.

There will be a Service of Thanksgiving on Friday 18th November at 2.30 p.m. at St Michael's Garrison Church, Tidworth (SP9 7EA) at 2:30pm. There will be refreshments at Tidworth Golf Club after the Service.

(For those without satellite navigation systems the church is located on St Michael’s Avenue, South Tidworth and is best reached from the A338. Turn left into Lahore Road at the traffic lights in Tidworth, right into Meerut Road and immediately left into Lowa Road. Take the second on the left into St Michaels Avenue. The church is to be found on the left hand side. There is a car park on the left past the church and cars may be parked on the road. After the Service, Tidworth Golf Club is to be found by following Bulford road southwards out of Tidworth).
