Annual Christmas Collection
On 23rd & 24th December 2008, the generosity of Andover's residents enabled the club members to collect £1,087.60 during their annual collection outside Tesco's River Way store. Thank you everyone!
The beneficiaries this year will be:
- Icknield School which is a special day school in Andover, for children with severe learning difficulties, the pupils are aged from 3 to 19 years old. There are 65 pupils on roll currently. They have small class groups with a high level of adult support, enabling each pupil to make progress at their individual rates. Also –
- The Countess of Brecknock Hospice which was founded with the support of Macmillan Cancer Relief following the successful establishment of two Macmillan nurses, and became an independent charitable trust in April 1998.
- other local Rotary supported charities.
As always, the Club wishes to express its thanks to the Managers and staff of Tesco's River Way store for making this possible.
